Wartime cookbook with recipes aimed at housewives needing to make the most of their share of meat. Eating the right foods, planning meals, and recipes for a variety of meats. Timetables for cooking meat. Two pages of color illustrations of Swift's products: meats and dairy, others. Cover shows wear and soiling, with creasing on front lower right corner of cover, and lower corner of rear cover. The bottom piece is missing from the plastic spine, the prepunched holes for this piece show wear. Remnants of old rubber band on rear cover, some small spots on interior. Some toning and tanning inside.
