Contains a list of stain-removal supplies such as absorbent powders, bleaches, solvents, etc. Also includes instructions for removing individual stains such as alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, chocolate and cocoa, ink, etc. Illustrated with black and white photographs. Rear page contains an Index to Stains. Used condition, shows some mild wear and soiling. Front and rear is stamped with the words 'from George H. Bender, United States Senator, Ohio'. Some yellowing to cover and pages, some bent page and cover corners.

On rear cover is printed 'This Book is a gift and is not for sale - Presented with the Compliments of 'Crown Hill Cemetery' (handwritten), Cleveland, Ohio Main 9390.' Circa 1960's, two newspaper clippings laid in the pages are dated 1962. Contains tips and hints for general housecleaning, laundry, time-savers, and the like. No illustrations. Used copy, mild wear and soiling to paper wraps, smudging on rear cover, lightly toning pages. First page has some words written in the top margin in red pencil. Some darkening to the pages where the newspaper clippings were laid in. Front cover has light dampstain and some creasing.
